We're open Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM for dental emergencies, and every weekday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Ring (561) 372-2189 and our Westlake office will set aside a slot for you that day. After hours, the phone is still answered by a person, who holds you the next opening.
The $99 is a minimum fee for patients paying without insurance. It covers a limited, problem-focused emergency exam (ADA code D0140) and the X-ray needed to diagnose the tooth. Treatment is priced separately and quoted to you in writing before any work starts.

Sunday hours are the same as Saturday: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. That's rare for a dental office, and it means you don't have to suffer through a whole Sunday and wait for Monday. Swelling, a broken tooth or a knocked-out tooth can all be seen on a Sunday morning if you call first.

Weekdays we open at 7:00 AM. That's early enough to be seen before most jobs start. We stay open until 7:00 PM, so you can come after work, after school pickup or after the drive home from the coast.

- Pass your details to the office so we're ready for you
The answering service doesn't diagnose or give medical advice. Facial swelling that reaches the eye or neck, labored breathing or swallowing, fever with a swollen face, or a serious injury should send you to an ER first. ER at Westlake is near our office, and Palms West Hospital is on Southern Blvd. Hospitals treat the infection or injury. They generally don't treat the tooth itself, so call us for follow-up.
What a weekend emergency visit costs
The $99 emergency exam applies on Saturday and Sunday just as it does on weekdays. For patients paying without insurance, the problem-focused exam and X-ray start at $99. If you have a PPO, HMO or Medicare Advantage dental plan, the exam and X-ray are billed to your plan.
Treatment is quoted in writing after the exam, before anything starts. We take cash and cards, and offer in-house payment plans plus Sunbit, Cherry and CareCredit financing. Full details are on the cost and insurance page.
Weekend emergency care for the western communities
